How does it look like?
The Pink Sony VAIO VGN-NS is a nice looking 15.4 inch pink notebook. It has a very clear and beautiful design. With 15.4 inch it joins the size of an normal notebook computer. The display is pretty nice and it’s quite pleasant to watch DVD’s or pictures on it. As the display is glossy the colors look nice but it might have some annoying reflections when using it outside. The build quality is as we expect from Sony quite nice – so it’s as well suitable for carrying it around with you – when you are willing to carry the 6.4 pounds of the pink notebook.
What can you do with it?
The keyboard and the touchpad are both excellent to work with and it’s very good for doing college and office work. One battery charge of the Sony VAIO VGN-NS is enough for four hours surfing in the internet and over two hours watching DVD. That’s quite much for a laptop of this size. The performance of the CPU and the graphics card are good enough to watch videos in high definition but you will be able to play very old games. The hard drive has a capacity of 250 GB what’s quite much to store your music, videos and pictures. It also has got a web-cam and a integrated microphone for video chatting.
What you might miss…
The integrated speakers are only average. If you want to watch a DVD with your friends you should think of using external speakers. It has as well no Blu-Ray drive so far. For constant mobile use it might be a little too large and heavy.
